Ocean Shores

Our little family had the chance to spend the day at Ocean Shores the past weekend. We don't usually do last minute mini trips these days, because it usually takes some time to pack everything for the kids and by the time that happens half the day is gone! Am I right? This time was spontaneous, but surprisingly we were able to pack up in less than an hour and ready to hit the road.
One of our biggest goals from now on is to spend more quality times with our babies before they grow up, because like everyone says "it will happen in a blink of an eye". I don't want it to be just words, I actually want it to happen. Being a stay home you would think I would have all the time in the world to spend time with them, and to some extent that may be true, but then I wouldn't have time to do anything else. More than half of my day goes into cooking, cleaning here and there (can't clean the whole house from top to bottom with two munchkins!) doing laundry, grocery shopping or running errands. Although in the midst of all that my kids are with me, but lets face it- there's no one on one time with them during that time. That's why trips like these really help us get back on track, take the time to invest into our little human beings as much as we can. Its also a time Igor and I can spend some time together as well.
We dream of traveling with our kids some day, and while that not may be possible now while they are small, we make the best of it and travel to places locally. We are very fortunate to be living in the PNW with all the beauty all around us, there is always so much to see!!
Ocean shores is a serene place, the open sea with no end in sight, the sound of the crashing waves and soft wind caressing your hair and skin, warm sand between your toes, its a truly a magical feeling.
I would like to share a few moments of our trip through pictures, it was both our babies first time so capturing this was pretty special.;)
